Highway Department
The Highway Department maintains 18.15 centerline miles of road, most of which are paved. The Highway Garage was built in 1988 and is home to two 10 wheeler dump trucks, a one ton dump truck, grader, badger and tractor. 

During the winter months, space at the Highway Garage is used to have a county plow truck stationed there. The Town of Cincinnatus uses approximately 1000 tons of sand and 150-200 tons of salt, each winter.

The following roads are maintained by the Town of Cincinnatus Highway

Birchwood Acres Lake Road
Clark Road Piety Hill Road
Dutch Hill Road Short Road
East View Terrace Stafford Road
Fox Road Staley Road
Knickerbocker Road Town Line Road

*Gee Brook Road is plowed by the town for Cortland County.
